Hannah was admitted to practice law in South Australia on 19 August 2013, graduating from Flinders University in 2013 with honours. Prior to studying law Hannah also completed a Bachelor of Arts degree.  During her law studies she completed electives in Shanghai, China and Maastrict, the Netherlands.

 Prior to her admission, she worked at Scammell and Co initially as a law clerk and then as a solicitor for 5 years in general practice with a focus on criminal law.

 In 2018 Hannah moved to Melbourne to follow her passion for criminal law and worked for a specialist criminal defence firm where she was the managing lawyer of the firm’s office in Ringwood. During her time in Melbourne, she was exposed to a high volume of criminal defence work where she represented multiple clients daily in the Melbourne Magistrate’s Court, suburban courts, and the County Court of Victoria.

 Over the last 10 years Hannah has appeared in numerous bail applications, plea hearings, diversion hearings, contested intervention order hearings, Treatment Intervention Court and Youth Court matters. She has worked on a broad range of serious major indictable matters including indecent assaults, child pornography, culpable driving, rape, high level fraud, drug trafficking and serious assaults.

 Hannah has also worked on complex major indictable matters listed for trial where there has been an investigation into the accused’s fitness to plead/stand trial and has also dealt with doli incapax issues in the Youth Court.
